it’s been eight years since my traumatic brain injury

Today marks eight years since my traumatic brain injury. The Lord has been thoroughly gracious to me, providing a countless number of marvels, including but not limited to:

a high school diploma at 17;

a college degree at 19;

a J.D. at 23;

a lawyer and father of four at 24; and

almost eight years of marriage at 25.

(See here for a more detailed account).

At present, I am working on a book about my post-TBI journey and what it reveals about personal identity. A sample passage can be found here. I hope to share it all with you soon.

To further commemorate the day, here are some photos from the last eight years, highlighting the journey:

The magic of my life means nothing without its magician–– and I am not him.

Thank you for your prayers and continual support.
