September 18, 2024, marked a full-circle moment in my life. I returned to Columbus North High School, exactly nine years after a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that forever changed my path. During my keynote address and Q&A session, I had the opportunity to share the story of my struggles, my faith, and the invaluable lessons learned along the way. I also had the pleasure of signing copies of my new book, Saving the Subject: How I Found You When I Almost Lost Me, a deeply personal journey of my post-TBI experience, blending intellectual, emotional, and spiritual reflections. With nearly 100 people in attendance, it was an evening filled with connection, growth, and gratitude.
